5/22/22  The Pub was rocking Saturday Night!  The boys in The Score love playing The Pub! It was another fun night of classic party rock and dance music in South Windsor as the band pumped out three powerful sets for the patrons.  The floor was well attended tonight, with plenty of dancers and the band did not disappoint with great dance classics like Get Down Tonight, Uptown Funk, Footloose and Shut Up and Dance.  They also responded to the rock tunes like Summer of 69,  Rock and Roll All Nite, American Woman I Want You to Want Me, and another jaw dropping version of Long Train Running interspersed with Tower of Power's Soul Vaccination!  We did it all!  Thanks to everyone that supported us at The Pub, we thank Greg, Kitten, Nicole and the crew for taking care of us and we look forward to returning in August!

5/13/22 The Score was back in Berlin for a scary good serving of party rock and dance classics at Strykers Cafe!  It was Friday, the 13th but the bad luck eluded us and even Jason was dancing!   We played without Tom, as he was celebrating a graduation, but we soldiered on and delivered the goods.  The band introduced American Woman for the first time as the crowd grooved approvingly.  We also brought back old favorites like Taking Care of Business and Down on the Corner,  and Don't Stop Believing to the delight of the crowd!  Of course, the dance hits were driving the crowd like Uptight(Everything's Alright), September, Let's Groove, Get Down on It and Shut Up and Dance.  Plus, Matt had them jumping with The Middle and on guitar, fan favorite, Hey Jealousy.  It was another great time at Strykers, easily the best little bar around!  We would like to thank everyone that came out, Marc, Jason and the crew and we look forward to the next time we are back in Berlin!

4/23/22  Another Score at City Sports Grille!  The Score scored again at City Sports Grille with three solid sets of classic party rock to bopping and dancing patrons.  This was an all ages affair, 21 or older to drink, but since it is part of the Spare Time Bowling and Arcade, we had a diverse crowd.  Popular tunes like Shut Up and Dance, The Middle and Uptown Funk went over well with the younger crowd, and the Stevie Wonder, Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire scored with the parents!  We had dancers and tambourine players of all ages! Management was impressed and signed us up for another show on August 13th, with more to be announced for the fall!    Thanks to everyone who came out to see us in Vernon- hope to see you all soon!

4/8/22  Scored big at Joanna's Restaurant!  It was an epic return to Joanna's Restaurant in Somers for The Score, as the repeat performance mirrored the auspicious debut with more solid covers of classic party rock and a dance floor full of patrons moving and grooving to the tunes!  It started dicey, with some weird sound issues after a perfectly normal soundcheck, but the boys corrected the issue quickly and proceeded to deliver what they do best- danceable hits including SmoothUptown Funk, Mustang Sally, Old Time Rock and Roll, Brick House, Get Down On It, Moondance, Footloose, Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and our Twist/Shout/ Twist and Shout medley!   The folks at Joanna's gave great positive feedback as the night went on, and we were happy to make so many new friends!  We'd like to thank Jeff and the amazing staff at Joanna's for taking such good care of us and we can't wait for our next Joanna's show on June 4th!

4/1/22  No Foolin' Only Fun!  It was another awesome gig on April 1st at Strykers Cafe with a full house of dancers as The Score ripped out three sets of classic party rock!  The boys brought back Ringo Starr's classic It Don't Come Easy to kick off the night and then we had them moving and grooving to songs like I'll Be Around, September, Centerfold, Footloose, Uptown Funk and Shut Up and Dance.  The energy at Strykers was amazing and it was nice to see so many friends!  We are back at Strykers on May 13th, so mark the calendars!

3/26/22  Callbacks are the greatest form of respect!  The Score had the honor of performing again at the annual East Berlin Firefighters Spring Fling fundraiser and it was a huge party!   The firehouse hall was packed with firefighters, their friends, family and supporters and they were ready to let loose!  The dance floor was full all night long as the band cranked out classic party rock and dance tunes all night long!  The boys unveiled a killer version of Santana's Smooth, had the place rocking with Tom Petty's Don't Do Me Like That, Old Time Rock and Roll, and the dance was on with those dance tunes like Get Down On It, September, Let's Groove and Get Down Tonight.  We did a dedication to our good friend Cara Farr with Hey Jealousy and we had a guest bongo player and later a guest singer,  Rich Copp help us bring back BTO's Taking Care of Business!  Thanks to Cara for booking us and to everyone who showed up in support.  We could have played all night, but all good things have to come to an end, so we hope to see everyone at the next Firehouse event and perhaps down the street at Strykers Cafe on April 1st!

2/19/22 The Pub was rocking!  It was like old times when The Score returned to South Windsor with a huge crowd,  all night dancing and great music!  The band was firing on all cylinders with a mostly recovered Tom Donato returning on sax, vocals and percussion, we missed the SaxMan!  The boys brought back a powerful offering of Grand Funk's We're An American Band and added a scorching version of Elton John's Crocodile Rock, and the dance tunes were hot of course keeping the floor full throughout the night. We want to thank everyone who came out and we will see you at The Pub again in May!

2/4/22 Sadly,  with the serious potential of black ice, Strykers & The Score agreed that it's safest to cancel tonight's show. Strykers will be open tonight for their local customers. See you next time and stay safe!

1/30/22  The Score is excited to announce that we will be back at Joanna's for 4/8, 6/4, 7/22 and 9/9!  We are also now booked on Thursday, 7/14 at Sonny's Place  and we will be back at the Center Streets Bike Fest in West Hartford on 8/28!  If YOU need a solid party rock band that gets people dancing, choose The Score!

1/28/22 The Score had their big debut at Joanna's Restaurant in Somers, CT and we knocked it out of the park!  The day started ominous, Tom was still not well enough to join us and we were having some weird tech issues.  But, once everything was sorted out (on time!), the boys rocked the house!  It was a big crowd of all ages and the floor was covered most of the night!  They responded positively to EWF's September, and this kicked off the dancing spree.  The Spinners I'll Be Around returned to the set list, as did Bad Case of Lovin' You, Gimme Some Lovin', Sharp Dressed ManWhat I Like About YouMoondance and I'm a Believer.  Other hot numbers included Let's Groove, Get Down Tonight, Summer of 69 and the Twist/ Shout/ Twist & Shout medley. We played two extra long sets, 58 songs in all- maybe a Score record- but we just couldn't get off the ample stage!  We made a lot of new friends that night, saw a few old friends and even scored a coveted gig at Sonny's as the fine folks at Joanna's told them they "had to see this band".  We want to thank Jeff and his amazing staff for taking care of us so well and we look forward to our next visit!

1/22/22 The house was rocking in Vernon!  The Score made its return to City Sports Grille in the Spare Time Bowling Center and it was a touchdown!  Bowling, Arcade, Great Food, NFL Playoffs and US- City Sports had it all tonight!   We missed our sax as Tom was not able to go tonight and is on the disabled list (non-COVID), but we hope he's back for our next show on Friday at Joanna's.  Still, the band soldiered on as a quintet, adjusted and called all the right plays putting on a heck of a show, blasting out three victorious sets of classic party rock and the dance floor was moving with some old friends and a bunch of new ones.  Thanks to everyone who came out last night- we appreciate you!  We are back in Vernon in April and we can't wait!

12/29/21. Unfortunately,  due to the recent Covid spike, the East Berlin Firehouse show on 1/15/22 has been postponed.  All other shows are still on!

12/18/21  It was a big holiday party at The Pub with The Score serving up three hot sets of classic party rock for the large energetic crowd!  We had Evan Bellman working sound for us and he stepped in for a few on guitar including Signed, Sealed and Delivered and a smoking version of Long Train Running.  The floor was crowded all night, dancing to hits like Footloose,  Let's Groove, Get Down Tonight and Uptown Funk.  We had a massive conga line on Volcano that traversed the bar and we had Jim Donato guesting on djembe for Copacabana.   Of course, we played Run Run Rudolph and Santa Claus is Coming to Town to the delight of the Santa hat wearing patrons.  Finally, we had a huge birthday party going so we brought back Beatles Birthday!  We also brought a more polished Sweet Emotion back and it is looking like a keeper!  We want to thank Greg, Brenda, Kitten and Nicole and the entire Pub staff for having us and we look forward to our return to The Pub on February 19th- see you there!

12/9/21 The Boys were back in town at Strykers Cafe, this time we had former Keyboardist/ Multi-instrumentalist Aaron Monteil back in the fold! It was awesome seeing Aaron again, and it was like old times again as we didn't miss a beat.  The band was on point with three powerful sets of classic party rock which included a free raffle for a $20 Strykers Gift Certificate pulled during our Springsteen influenced Santa Claus is Coming to Town, of course!   We brought back I'm A Believer in memory of losing Monkee Mike Nesmith, served up a request for Aerosmith's Sweet Emotion and of course added a spirited Run Run Rudolph to the mix!  The crowd was spirited and there were plenty of Santa Hats!  We return to Marc, Jill and the Strykers crew in February-  Help us support great venues like Strykers- so get out there and see live music!

12/3/21. We are happy to announce two new shows at City Sports Grille in Vernon on Saturdays 1/22 and 4/23!  City Sports is a full service bar and restaurant located inside the Spare Time Bowling Center!

11/13/21  Callbacks are key when you are a band and we were ecstatic to hear from Desmond's Army again Animal Rights Advocates!  Two years ago we performed for the DA's annual fundraiser at Strykers Cafe and now we teamed up again, this time at the Southington Elks Lodge!  The fine folks at Desmond's Army knows how to party and all the pieces of the puzzle were there- great, energetic people, excellent food, a bar and of course the sweet sounds of The Score!  The boys were on point, serving up three killer sets of dance rock, keeping the dance floor moving all night long.   We refined our new songs Copacabana, I'm Still Standing, Hit Me With Your Best Shot and a spirited Footloose! We scored with every song, including Long Train Running, September, Twist Medley and topped it off with a triumphant I Want You to Want Me!  Rene DiNino of iHeart Radio was there and gave a heartfelt speech as we learned of all the good that DA does for animal rights.  We'd like to thank Zilla Monstella and all of Desmond's Army- you guys are great and we look forward to rocking out for you next time!

1016/21 The Score did a fun fill in gig at the Bristol Sports Bar & Grille!  After seeing a call for a last minute replacement band on Facebook on Friday, The Score swooped in and landed the Saturday night show.  The crowd grew as the night went on and the band did not disappoint!  We took the opportunity to unveil a couple of new songs including the Barry Manilow classic, Copacabana and Elton John's I'm Still Standing, which we think are "keepers".  We also brought back The Authority Song after a bit of a hiatus. The band also ran their usual set favorites, including a smoking version of our Stevie Songs: Superstition and I Wish, EWF's twin hits Let's Groove and September,  and a very hot version of Born to Run! The place was rocking for our version for Hey Jealousy and Jesse's Girl, and the slow dance was on for Moondance!  This was our first time at the venue and we'd like to thank Brendon Donohue and Bristol bar staff for taking care of us and for choosing The Score!  Hope to see you all again!

9/18/21 The Score was back in the saddle at The Pub in South Windsor for a classic party rockfest!  The Band unveiled some new tunes like the hot version of Pat Benatar's Hit Me With Your Best Shot, and Easy by The Commodores, as well as bringing back What I Like About You and I'm a Believer!  We also had Tony Piacenta sit in on drums  and rock out for us on Dance With Me Tonight and Old Time Rock and Roll.  It's always a great time at The Pub, with the stage, good food and great service!  We want to thank Greg, Nicole, Brenda and the crew for having us and bringing us back for a holiday bash on December 18th- Don't miss it!

9/12/21  The Score had a wonderful time jamming out in sunny Arbor Park for the Ellington Congregational Church!  Great people, great times!  Thanks for choosing The Score for your church picnic and thanks for dancing and bopping around during the show!  If you need a good party band, look no further than The Score!

9/3/21 It has been a long time coming, but we finally returned to the best little bar around, Strykers Cafe in Berlin!  We were one of the final full bands to play there pre-pandemic as everyone's world was quickly turned topsy-turvy about 10 days later, so it was fitting that we would be the first full band back to hopefully usher in a new period of rock in Berlin!   This show was a blast, we rocked hard for three solid sets to an energetic crowd that were clearly happy to see us back.  We had the floor moving all night long with all the classics, such as Let's Groove, Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Uptight (Everything's Alright), Johnny B Goode, Twist, Shout and of course Twist and Shout!  It was a great night, we'd like to thank Marc Michaud and the crew once again and we look forward to returning to Strykers for our 12/10 holiday show, which will feature the return of Aaron Montiel on keys, subbing in for Brett Proctor.  Mark the calendars!

8/29/21  Once again, The Score had the pleasure of rocking out for the Center Streets Bike Festival in West Hartford Center!  It was a wonderful day, with many bicyclists, joggers, walkers and skaters traversing the closed off loop of West Hartford Center.   The band was set up in front of the Westfield Bank on Farmington Avenue and pumped out two long sets of classic party rock for the festival goers, including hits like Brick House, I Wish, Long Train Running with the head turning Soul Vaccination, the crowd pleaser September, You May Be Right, a jump fest during The Middle and Don't Stop Believing, the latter two had Tom Donato's granddaughter helping out on vocals!  We also performed an out of the box request for The Wheels on the Bus, for all the kids having a blast on their scooters and decorating the road with street chalk.  Yes, they DO go "round and round"!   The Score always has a great time at Center Streets and we'd like to thank Ethan Frankel and Emily Osh for having us back, and we look forward to doing it all again next August!

8/21/21  Callbacks are the ultimate compliment!  The Score had the pleasure of jamming out at the Folsom Summer Party for the second year in a row, and once again it was an awesome time! We had Mark Cormier back behind the kit for this one, and we didn't miss a beat! The band set up by the pool, enjoyed some amazing pulled pork and rocked out three sets of classics.  We had the tambourines out, some guest vocalists and plenty of dancing!  The boys brought back tunes like Don't Stop Believing, jammed out on several Stevie Wonder hits, and did Friends in Low Places, solidifying it in the set! Thanks for having us perform and we hope to see you all again next year!  If YOU need a solid party rock band, look no further than The Score!

8/7/21 The Score had an awesome time playing a Graduation Party in Amstead, CT today!  We did two sets of rock classics, taking a request for Garth Brooks Friends in Low Places and we brought back KISS Rock and Roll All Nite  to amp up the party atmosphere!  We also played Crazy Little Thing Called Love, Long Train Running, Uptown Funk and closed the night with a smashing I Want You to Want Me! The Score wishes all the graduates, good luck in your new adventures! The Score loves doing parties!  If you need a solid party rock band for your private party, check out The Score!

8/5/21  The Score rocked East Hartford at the Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Great River Park!  The weather cooperated and the boys delivered two solid sets of classic party rock for the large crowd at the park, offering dance hits like Brick House, Let's GrooveSeptember, Get Down On It and crowd favorites Mustang Sally and the Twist/ Shout/ Twist and Shout medley.  We had saxophone substitute Mark Kaplan sitting in for Tom, who was away on vacation and he was excellent, setting off several fiery solos!  This concert was taped by East Hartford Public Access Channel 5, so be on the lookout.  We had a great time playing for the hometown crowd of East Hartford, where several of us teach and we would like to thank Sean Dwyer and the Parks and Rec department, as well as the series sponsors for having us this year. We hope to see you at Great River Park again in 2022!

7/24/21  The Score rocked Simsbury!  The Score was back at the Old Well Tavern for a Saturday night of Classic Party Rock!  The Old Well crowd was in force, dancing to classics until the end of the night to such tunes like Brick House, Get Down Tonight, Jailhouse Rock and Mustang Sally!  We brought back Jet Airliner to the set, and closed out with I Want You to Want Me.  We love jamming out on the big stage at the Old Well, and we hope to be back again soon!

7/22/21  Please note that Saturday's Old Well Tavern show in Simsbury will start at 7:30 instead of the original 8PM.  Come early for some food, they make some delicious dishes!  We could start a few minutes earlier if the crowd is ready!  See you there!

7/16/21 The Score Hit The Roof and debuted at the hottest club east of the river, Glastonbury's Rooftop 120!  The boys had a powerful first set that set the tone for the evening, churning out a mix of classic party rock and dance for the big crowd.  The floor was packed with dancers throughout the night and we had a blast!  New tunes like Swingtown and I'll Be Around and Get Down On It really gelled and Score classics like September, Let's Groove and our Twist/ Shout/ Twist & Shout medley had the floor moving and the return of Cheap Trick's I Want You to Want Me rocked the house near the end of the night! It was awesome to play the Rooftop with it's inside and outside areas, special thanks to Tyler and his crew- we can't wait to return to Glastonbury!

7/14/21  We have officially entered the 21st Century and The Score is now on Twitter!  Check us out at The Score CT@TheScoreCT1 for breaking updates and thoughts.   Tweeting... it's not just for the birds!

6/12/21  WE ARE BACK!  The revamped, fully vaccinated Score returned to the live music scene at The Pub in South Windsor with three scorching sets of classic party rock!  It's been a long time, there has been some change, but the gang was ready to rock!  The crowd was energetic and substantial, almost pre-pandemic in size, and they were having a blast with us!   We unveiled our new lead axeman, former Groove Time guitarist, George Pich and our new drummer Eric Feder as well as a couple of new songs a smooth version of Steve Miller's Swingtown and a cut of The Spinners I'll Be Around.  We will be changing songs up here and there, so stay tuned and thank you for supporting live music, our venues and The Score!

5/15/21  The Score is excited to say hello to drummer Eric Feder and incoming guitarist George Pich!  They bring a wealth of experience to the band, give them a big Score welcome!

2/21/21  The Score is sad to say that our drummer, Mark Cormier is leaving the band and joining a country outfit.  Mark's a great guy and a great drummer and we will miss him.  It was unfortunate that the pandemic kept us from regularly jamming together.  We wish him the best of luck, and he will always be a part of the Score family.  Moving forward, we are looking for a new drummer, who is interested in playing semi-regularly, likes a wide range of music and fits well, so stay tuned.

11/6/20  Due to the COVID uptick in the state of Connecticut, the show at the Pub in South Windsor has been officially cancelled.   Connecticut has reverted back to phase 2 and this makes it impossible to perform inside.   We look forward to the day when we can all get together with our friends and rock out at our favorite venues.   Until that day, stay safe!

8/22/20 Outdoors is where it is at!  The  weather was perfect when The Score rocked Newington's Concert Series at Market Square with two solid sets of classic party rock!   The band attracted a very large crowd of good friends and new faces at the Market Square lot and had the patrons dancing in the street!   It was a lot of fun, Matt had the crowd jumping for The Middle, showing some great dance tunes with Let's Groove, Uptown Funk and September, jammed another powerful offering of Long Train Running and we ended the night with a rousing version of Sweet Caroline!  We left them wanting more, so we hope to be back in Newington next year!  If you need a solid party rock band, check out The Score!

8/15/20 Private parties are often the best gigs, and The Score was proud to be able to perform at the Fulsom's long delayed graduation/ 4th of July party!  The party was hopping as the band scorched through three sets of party rock tunes!  We brought back a few songs, including the Kiss party classic, Rock and Roll All Nite and a solid version of Billy Joel's Only the Good Die Young and a rocking We're An American Band.  Don't Stop Believing got the crowd roaring, as several of the grads came up on stage to join in!  As the sun set, the party ramped up and we had several guest vocalists as the band jammed out.  The really band had a blast in Andover, and look forward to seeing our new friends again!  If you have a private event and need a solid party rock band, look no further than The Score!

7/4/20  The Score rocked the 4th of July in Ellington!  The Score had an awesome time jamming out at the Ellington 4th of July Block Party!  This was a fun event, with many neighbors watching from their lawns as the band pumped out three sets from the end of the cul de sac.  We brought back some Elvis, delivering a very solid Jailhouse Rock and Hound Dog, a powerful version of Cheap Trick's Surrender,  and a very smooth Moondance- under the full moon as we awaited a lunar eclipse.   It was the 4th, so we also performed Lee Greenwood's God Bless the USA and Evan did a scorching, but respectful Star Spangled Banner during the very impressive fireworks display.   The sets also featured some of the kids at the party, as they provided vocals for Don't Stop Believing and a couple of other tunes, to the delight of the parents!  Great food, lots of fun and of course music with The Score...  The good people of this Ellington neighborhood is having us back again next year- we can't wait! This gig reminded us just how much we love to perform for you!  If you have a backyard, block or private party- check out The Score!

5/16/20  Unfortunately, The Score's June 6th Rooftop120 show has been cancelled.  Due to state capacity restrictions, Rooftop has decided to postpone their May 20th reopening and they are not having live entertainment in June.   We really looked forward to our debut at Rooftop 120, and we hope that we can see them at our next scheduled date in September.  In the meantime, stay well and stay safe.  Our next gig is now Strykers Cafe in July.   Hope we can rock the house!

4/20/20  It certainly has been an odd time for everyone.  We miss seeing all of our supporters out at our great venues across Connecticut.  We really have no idea of the immediate future when it comes to performances, but our next scheduled show is at the trendy Rooftop 120 in Glastonbury. We will keep you all in the loop regarding that date and future shows.   In the summer, we have scheduled dates at Strykers, The Pub, The Yarde Tavern, a debut at The Red Door in Watertown, maybe Center Streets Bike Fest in West Hartford, and we look forward to when will be able to safely start seeing all our friends there at a venue near you!    For now, stay safe and be well!

3/13/20  Due to the current state of emergency because of the Corona Virus, The Score will not be performing at City Sports in Vernon tomorrow night, March 14. We also regret that we have been informed that the March 28th Spring Fling at the East Berlin Firehouse will be postponed with a date to be determined.  We do not take cancelling a gig lightly. However, we want everyone to stay healthy during this time of concern over the spreading virus. Thanks for understanding and we hope to see you out on the dance floor real soon.

3/6/20  The Score was back at Strykers Cafe in Berlin for another great night of classic party rock!  The boys had the small, but mighty crowd engaged and tearing up the floor by offering up great tunes like Long Train Running, dance favorites like Brick House and September while tightening up some of their new songs like Maneater and the "dancetastic" Twist medley!   We had Karaoke king Brian Swider up singing two songs with us, the first was a solid version of Brown Eyed Girl and he came back at in the final set to give us a smooth Wonderful Tonight!  At the end of the evening, The Score reached way back into the vault and pulled off a totally face melting version of Chicago's 25 or 6 to 4, led by Evan Bellman's sonic attack on guitar and Tom Donato's signature sax lines!   That was a keeper for sure!  We love playing Strykers- Marc and the crew always treats us right- it's kind of our "home base"; we are back on July 10th, so see you there!

2/29/20 The Score Leaps into 2020 with an extra night to party!  The Score had a blast at the big Leap Year Bash at the Pub in South Windsor!  It was dancing all night long with three strong sets of floor moving classic party rock.  The boys officially welcomed Mark Cormier to the fold on drums and he had us on point all night, reducing space between songs and adding vocals too!  We also infused many new tunes and brought back some from the depths of the set lists, including the Hall & Oates classic Maneater,  a furious version of Got to Get You Into My Life by The Beatles, a rocking offering of Foreigner's Dirty White Boy, a ripping medley of The Twist, into Shout into Twist and Shout which had the dance floor go crazy, a smooth Dancing in the Dark, and a fun offering of The Wonders Dance With Me Tonight!  It was a huge group of new tunes and they were all received very well.  We also brought back Jesse's Girl and I Want You to Want Me.  The band also had a bunch of guests on stage, including Jane Lovett, aka Redhead who belted out Long Train Running, Marilyn Kopf of Hammersmith came up and worked backups on several tunes, Dan Hernberg of The Introvertz took on lead guitar and crooned some excellent vocal duties for Johnny Cash's Folsom Prison Blues as well as helping us out on sound, EHHS student, Gabe Zachariah sat in on keys for several tunes including Long Train, Sugar Pie Honey Bunch and Uptight (Everything's Alright), and we even had a mysterious kid jam out on guitar with our closer After Midnight.  There was a lot going on at The Pub's Leap Year Bash!  We want to thank Greg, Brenda and the crew for taking good care of us, The Pub is the place to be in East Hartford and South Windsor, so stop by- we will be back for the Massive Summer Luau in July.  Now THAT is one not to miss, so mark those calendars!  See you on the Road...

1/21/20  The Score is extremely pleased to welcome drummer Mark Cormier to the band!  Mark has many years of experience on the CT music scene, and recently has been our main sub drummer, sitting in at many gigs.  We are excited to have Mark aboard and we are looking forward to the future with his enthusiasm, skill and commitment.   We sadly say goodbye to Tommy "Stixey" Szymuc who manned the Score kit for the past five years.  We thank Tommy for all he has done for the band, taking us in new directions and imparting his considerable wisdom from his years of touring in national bands. Tommy will now be able to fully focus on his band Xclusive, and we wish him well and look forward to seeing him on the road or if we need a substitute drummer!  He is forever in the Score family!   As for us, Mark and the rest of the boys in The Score will see you at our next gig on February 29th at The Pub in South Windsor, so when you see Mark at the show, give him a nice Score welcome!   See you on the road!

1/11/20 The Score throws a strike at the City Sports Grille at Spare Time bowling alley!  The band had a rousing debut at the Vernon landmark for live music, jamming out two long sets that included many dance favorites like September, Let's Groove and Uptown Funk as well as an amazing vocal on Born to Run.  They also included strong rockers like Hey Jealousy and Hard to Handle.  Evan had some face melting solos on Pride and Joy and we even brought back Sharp Dressed Man for a request and did a Rush song to honor the passing of Neil Peart, doing a credible version of Fly by Night!  It was a fun night in Vernon and we will be back at City Sports on March 14th-  See you there!

1/6/20  The Score opens 2020 with a bang at the new Elicit Brewery in Manchester!   The Score played the trendy Elicit Brewery to a packed house of hundreds of patrons and delivered three solid sets of classic party rock!  We brought back Sweet Emotion as a request and had Nate Edwards stop by on saxophone for a few tunes including Ain't Too Proud to BegShut Up and Dance and Uptown Funk got the crowd going too!  We had a lot of great feedback at Elicit from both staff and patrons, as we had people dancing and  We would like to give a special shoutout to our own Tom Donato and his colleagues at the Langford School for coming out to check us out and we thank the everyone that came out to Elicit Brewery and we hope to be back later this year!
